Loano and sport

Loano is the city in Western Liguria with the largest number of sports facilities. Among these the Palazzetto dello Sport is certainly the “flagship”.

The PalaGarassini (this is its other name) in via Matteotti is equipped with an indoor Olympic-sized swimming pool, an outdoor Olympic-sized swimming pool with a waterslide (open from mid-June to mid-September) and another smaller pool specifically dedicated to the children.

Whether it’s for sports or simply for fun, the Palazzetto dello Sport in Loano is the unmissable place for all swimming enthusiasts. And those who simply want to relax in the sun can easily lie down and sunbathe by the pool…The pools are managed by the Doria Nuoto Loano company, which organizes summer camps during the summer to introduce children of all ages to water sports: swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, lifeguarding, triathlon, track and field athletics, sports dance and fitness but also petanque. In the winter months, on the other hand, it is possible to use the indoor facility during free swimming times or enroll in the numerous courses.
